... I got answers!
Any old back story or general questions about some game stuff (timeline, mechanics, visuals, etc)... fire away.
I know you have a thread below but I figure we could consolidate and get things together here.

I was hoping for more responses since there's a thread below about Newbie stuff, and I figured I could give more of a better Q & A than anything. Maybe you're curious about world visuals? Or what halfies really are? Or timeline? What is the Darkness Eternal Zone? The GTC? Anything? What does Neo-Tokyo look like? Osaka? Haha, just putting those out there for now.

Sure, this was asked earlier. What is Neo-Tokyo like? What composes the buildings? Is it underground? Whats the lighting like at night? Are the roads paved with concrete or cobblestones? ect.

Sure, this was asked earlier. What is Neo-Tokyo like? What composes the buildings? Is it underground? Whats the lighting like at night? Are the roads paved with concrete or cobblestones? ect. The world outside is decimated. It's a post-apocalyptic world since the space station had hit the world, creating a cloud of dust over the world and life potentially ended. This was ideal for the robotics to take over the, well, overworld and make it their own within Osaka. It became the mecca for the development of the Gangs and their plots due to the Anarchy Coalition. The Anarchy Coalition was a group of senile and demented scientists that were in a different sector of Darkness Eternal Zone's top secret project. The Darkness Eternal Zone project is still shrouded in mystery and was to be developed within Story. Neo-Tokyo was created underground out of a cavern discovered by geologists in years prior. It was so huge that it could amass an entire city in there if necessary, and harnessing fusion energy would allow the city to flourish. It provided running water, shelter, and was protected well from the harsh outside world. Although the outside being inhabitable, it was still possible to go outside for long periods of time. It's dark nearly all the time and chaotic storms are the norm wherever you go. In Osaka, it's just completely covered in heavy smog where there's always construction for preparation to take over the world one way or the other, and for the race to the Darkness Eternal/Eternal Darkness Zone. Roads are broken, twisted/warped, and shattered. In Neo-Tokyo, they utilized the stones around them and created their own walkways with them. I didn't determine a type of stone that made up the caverns. Neo-Tokyo is closely guarded by the Thunderforce, the strong arm of the city. Holystrike protected the liberties and freedoms of the people it took under its wing, and Silencer's Wind allowed for the freedom of information and silent protection of its people in the night. Now, being a few years later, Neo-Tokyo has regular stone buildings--from what I gather of the recreation, and Thunderforce's HQ is the entrance/exit to the outside/inside as the other buildings are near but within Neo-Tokyo. Hope that helps.

Haflies...cat girls. Mmm...*drools*...*Stomach growls* Funny thing is that... people didn't know what halfies were--and it didn't matter how many times I explained it. -_- Edit: Until I came up with the SUPER FAQ page which included the timeline and the obvious Q&A.

So basicly the surface looks like Fallout 3 and Neo-Tokyo looks like ancient Rome in a cave?
Works for me.
